WALLINGFORD, CT, November 13, 2006 - TransAct Technologies, Incorporated. (Nasdaq: TACT), a global leader in market-specific printers for transaction-based industries, today announced that along with its alliance partners JCM American and Tovis Monitors, they will showcase their innovative line of gaming products at this year's Global Gaming Expo (G2E) taking place November 14-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #2057. This year TransAct will feature its innovative gaming printer and service solutions in a larger, 4000 sq. ft. interactive booth, which will give customers the ability to view the best in gaming peripheral devices from all three companies in one stop.
Bart C. Shuldman, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of TransAct Technologies, said, "TransAct, JCM and Tovis formed what has proven to be a successful alliance a year ago. We believe that combining our resources to create a one stop booth for gaming peripherals is not only good for all three companies but most of all it is good for our customers."
Shuldman continued, "G2E has always been a great opportunity for TransAct to showcase our premier products and this year should prove to be even more successful for us. We will demonstrate our full portfolio of products for the gaming market including the Epic 950 our gaming printer with patented dual port technology that has the flexibility to print both promotional coupons and ticket vouchers on the same printer; the Epic 630 designed for the large global market for gaming-type machines not found in casinos such as video lottery terminals and we will also introduce several new products. These include the Epic 430 our newest printer targeting the off premise gaming market and POWEROLLä our new thermal paper that allows for printing true full color images on both the front and back. Overall, we are confident that our innovative offerings combined with the larger booth will provide a quality experience for TransAct customers and we expect to see positive returns from our participation at this year's G2E."
TransAct Services Group will also have a large presence at this year's G2E. They will be highlighting the increasing global service options that TransAct offers and that makes this a must-see stop at the booth for all slot technical professionals.
POWEROLLä brand thermal paper allows for true full color images printed on both the front and back. The specialized paper is delivered to end-users in rolls that are pre-printed with the user's logo, product or other branded marketing material. Use of this paper allows users to leverage the receipt for branding and marketing purposes, while also helping to reduce copied receipt fraud.
