TransAct Technologies Names New Casino Sales Executive

WALLINGFORD, Conn., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TransAct Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq: TACT - News), a leading producer of transaction- based printers for customers worldwide today announced the appointment of Jim Gabriele, to lead the TransAct Eastern Region Casino Sales organization. Mr. Gabriele, a veteran of the gaming industry for over a decade, will be responsible for managing and achieving TransAct's sales objectives in the Eastern Region of the United States. Jim Gabriele comes to TransAct from Mars Electronics International where his most recent position was Director of Gaming North America/New Business Development. During his career at MEI Jim grew the business from its baseline to 24% market share by winning such key accounts such as the Borgata, the MGM Mirage, Seneca Casinos, and the Tropicana among others.
