HAMDEN, CT - November 11, 2008 - TransAct Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: TACT), a global leader in market-specific printers for transaction-based industries, today announced that it will display the company's robust and highly reliable banking printers, including the new BANKjet® 2500, at the upcoming BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from November 18-20.  

TransAct will be located at Booth #1246 during the conference, where executives will be on hand to demonstrate the company's market-leading printers specifically designed for banking applications.  On display will be the new BANKjet® 2500, the most cost-efficient, feature-rich printer currently available in the marketplace. This highly reliable printer is fully compatible with existing banking systems and features simple drop-in paper loading and drop-in, wide cut-through validation.
