TRANSACT TECHNOLOGIES WINS DEFAULT STATUS AT IGTHAMDEN, CT, April 7, 2008 – TransAct Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: TACT), a global leader in market-specific printers for transaction based industries, today announced that IGT, a subsidiary of International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), has selected TransAct's Epic 950® printer as the default Ticket-In Ticket-Out printer for all new IGT games. The term of the default status will begin immediately and extend through June 30, 2010.
